Rolls Surrette is one of North America's leading lead-acid battery manufacturers. Surrette's strength is in deep cycle battery applications where depth of cycle and long service life is important. Rolls Surrette batteries are manufactured using improved construction techniques in battery plate, plate insulation, and battery case construction. To maximize capacity per size, Rolls Surrette batteries use open cell, flooded plate technology. RES uses these batteries in our system designs to provide users with high-performance, low-maintenance systems. RES maintains a large inventory of deep cycle batteries at our Anchorage facility, reducing lead time and shipping costs. Download Rolls Surrette Battery Care and Maintenance Manual (553kb pdf).

Designed with a 10-year battery life, Trojan Battery’s Premium Line of flooded deep-cycle batteries is specifically engineered to withstand the rigorous conditions of renewable energy applications. The Premium Line incorporates advanced battery features such as Trojan’s DuraGrid,™ which provides improved corrosion resistance, MaxGuard® XL Separator, for greater resistance to stratification, and Alpha Plus® Paste with T2 Technology, which increases both sustained capacity and total overall ampere-hours, resulting in more operating power for your application. These technologies provide superior performance, rugged durability, and exceptionally long life. Trojan's product strategy is focused on one simple objective – manufacture the highest quality battery available in the industry which is why their Premium Line is tested to IEC standards.
Having shaped the world of deep-cycle battery technology for more than 85 years, Trojan Battery’s pioneering research, development and manufacturing expertise has firmly established the company’s legacy of applying focused engineering expertise and innovation to addressing the needs of the global renewable energy marketplace.
U.S.Battery manufactures deep cycle AGM and lead acid batteries specifically for use in renewable energy solar and wind power systems, as well as for marine and automotive use. U.S.Battery has been building flooded lead acid batteries since 1928, putting quality before quantity since the day their first battery rolled off the assembly line. U.S.Battery’s AGM products offer several advantages over both conventional flooded and GEL lead acid battery types. Because the acid (electrolyte) is absorbed in glass mats (AGM) surrounding the plates, they will not spill if broken. In addition, since there is no free liquid to cause damage if frozen, U.S.Battery AGM Batteries are rarely damaged by freezing temperatures. Heat generation is reduced during the charge and discharge cycle, providing longer and more reliable life cycles. All of U.S.Battery’s AGM products have very low self discharge rates allowing the batteries to be stored for longer periods of time without the need to boost charge as often. Hydrogen gas emission is less than 4%, allowing U.S.Battery’s AGM products to be used in aircraft applications and in areas with enclosed spaces (but not in sealed or gas-tight containers.) U.S.Battery’s AGM 2000 plates are constructed and rigidly mounted while tightly packed to withstand shock and vibration found in many motive power applications, giving years of reliable, dependable and maintenance free usage.
